[Python-apps-team] Opinions: Which Trac for Wheezy?

Hi,

I like to read the opinions of everybody interested in Trac on Debian:

We have Trac 0.12.3 in Wheezy. After the freeze, 0.12.4 has been
released. More importantly, upstream has has renamed 0.13 to 1.0 and
released it, too. Squeeze has Trac 0.11.7.

While 0.12.x will probably supported by upstream for some time, I
wonder, whether many users might want to use it on Wheezy.

Mainly the improved support of DVCSes in Trac 1.0 is the major point
for upgrading, but there are many other enhancements, also for old
fashioned SVN users.

How can we deal with this situation?
  - ask release managers to accept 1.0 in wheezy (I'm kidding!)
  - have 0.12.3 in wheezy, have 1.0 in testing + bpo (high effort;
    both versions get less users, therefore less testing)
  - drop 0.12.3 and its plugins etc. from wheezy, have 1.0 in testing
    + bpo (not really a stable version in bpo, because it might be
    replaced with 1.x at some point)

What do you think?
