Hey all,

I just checked GitPython (aka python-git) and there are newer upstream
releases available, so I wanted to check in on the status of updating it. sid
has 0.3.2~RC1-3, experimental has 0.3.6+git28-g88f3dc2-1, and the latest
release is 1.0.1 release from April 2015.

The changelog says that this 1.0.0 release says "This version is equivalent to
v0.3.7, but finally acknowledges that GitPython is stable and production ready."
https://github.com/gitpython-developers/GitPython/blob/master/doc/source/changes.rst

Sounds like we should have v1.0.1. Someone want take this on, or shall I do
an NMU?
