Adaptec 2906 Scsi card and the Microtek ScanMaker E6. <BR><BR>The suggested test
scan with the command:<BR>$

parallel port or other proprietary ports can't be<BR># detected by this
program.<BR><BR># You may want to run this program as root to find all devices.
Once you<BR># found the scanner devices, be sure to adjust access permissions

<DIV><BR>doesn't find anything, which may be ok <SPAN
class=070273613-27022004>because</SPAN> the <SPAN
class=070273613-27022004>M</SPAN>ac has no /dev/scanner device.<BR><BR>So i
tried the next command:<BR>$ scanimage -L<BR>device

detected, but why 8 times ?<BR><BR>An scanimage > test.pnm doesn't work, the
scanner starts, but then the process hangs. After killing the process, the mac
sometimes hangs.<BR><BR>Any suggestions for me ?<BR><BR>Thanks in
