<div>I chose to install just download the: ----> sane-airscan_0.9.16+53.1_amd64.deb <---- package and not add a repository and then install manually.</div>

<div>Now when I open the XSane application an AirScan entry is shown for the OfficeJet. I also have noticed that a scanning application named (simple-scan) does work after attempting to scan twice the first attempt does not work at all.</div>
