“communucations error” using simple-scan with my Kodak ESP 5 AiO
scanner.</p>

<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">I can hear the
scanner start but soon after get the error message. I have to
power
cycle the printer to get it working again.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%"><br>

<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">The Kodak machine
works perfectly when connected to either a Windows 7 or Windows 10
machine, whether they’re real machines or VM (VirtualBox).</p>

</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">I’m hoping there
is someone here that can help me figure out what’s going on.</p>
