I can confirm that the SANE project PPAs do indeed work for Linux
Mint 20, which is based on Ubuntu Focal.<br>

You can follow the instructions here:<br>

...to activate the PPA on your system. This will allow you to
install/upgrade your SANE backend libraries to 1.0.31, which is the
latest official release.<br>
