When using my HP 4400c with xsane and 150 dpi, the outcome is just a<br>
grey/blue picture, not real content of the page. Other DPI settings like<br>
300 produce a normal scan.<br>

I also noticed that the scanner moved forward, stops, then moves a bit<br>
backwards and then forward again. This happens multiple times until the<br>
page is scanned.<br>
