added to master as usual. Bug fixes and translations should go to <br>
release-1.4.x.<br>

Epson Japan sent me a patch for the epsonds backend but I have not had <br>
time to apply it, sorry about that. :( It is a little too late for me to <br>
do it for this release (no-one will have been able to test it out) but I <br>
will apply it to master in the next few days. Thank you Epson Japan for <br>
keeping this backend up-to-date. I will certainly not leave it so long <br>
for the next release, 1.5.<br>
