Hello Sreerenj and everyone,

I am really happy today, since we have successfully reached the completion
of the GSoC project "All Indic Language Themes and Improvements in Tuxtype"

As you know I made the following additions into tuxtype in this summer.
1 GNU Gettext support
2. GUI for editing Wordlist
3. Indic language themes.

The first two parts already merged with trunk. The third part is under my
branch soc-mobin. 12 new themes including RtoL Pashto is ready to merge into
trunk. Some of the Indic languages use the same keyboard layout. These are
the different keyboard layouts of Indian Languages Bengali, Gujarati,
Gurmukhi, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Tamil, Telungu and Hindi. Now we will
be having at least one theme which uses these Keyboard Layouts. Pashto and
Sinhala are non Indian languages which comes under Indic languages. Sinhala
work completed even before this summer by Nilmini Gunasekara. So we will be
going to see such a big improvement in trunk soon. I am afraid how can we
add Pashto (by Zabeeh Khan), since we don't have RtoL support.

Auto-detection of typeable characters using SDL 1.3/2 is not feasible since
newer version of SDL doesn't have the API to implement this.

I take this opportunity to thank you for your support and timely feedback.
Once again I experienced the cooperation and motivation of each and every
developers in Tux4kids community. Thanks to David Bruce, Bill Kendrick,
Holger Levsen and all. There are number of people who helped directly and
indirectly for completing this project. Ani Peter for coordinating the
translation of po files, Pramode C E, my teacher and mentor, all professors
and lecturers of Computer Science Department Govt. Engineering College,
Thrissur, all developers in Swathanthra Malayalam Computing and my friends.

thanks,
mobin
