Package: prusa-slicer
Version: 2.4.2+dfsg-1
Severity: wishlist
Dear Maintainer,
Please consider adding support for 'application/vnd.ms-3mfdocument' mime type in your package. This way, filenames with a .3mf extension will open in Prusa Slicer instead of being detected as zip files.
Note: upstream supports this mime type, and it may be a side effect of bug 1004132.
Adding this to prusa-slicer.sharedmimeinfo should work:
<mime-type type="application/vnd.ms-3mfdocument">
<comment>3D Manufacturing Format Document</comment>
<icon name="unknown"/>
<glob-deleteall/>
<glob pattern="*.3mf"/>
</mime-type>
And, of course, modify prusa-slicer.desktop accordingly.
Thank you
