My two cents on this. The `arduino` package (Arduino IDE) will
eventually be removed as well as we are unable/unwilling to package the
newest versions (v2.x)*. So, to me it makes sense to drop this package
as well altogether.

* Long overdue is an explanation of the situation regarding Arduino IDE
and CLI, which I hope I'll carry out at some point. Sorry about that. I
don't currently use the Arduino libraries either, which is why I've been
dealing with other stuff.

Agreed. Never understood why this was under the 3-D Printing team.
