[Alioth-staff-replacement] Cannot clone repository from alioth-archive.d.o

I tried the following:

% GIT_CURL_VERBOSE=1 GIT_TRACE=1 git clone
https://alioth-archive.debian.org/git/pkg-freeradius/freeradius.git
[…]
> GET /git/pkg-freeradius/freeradius.git/info/refs?service=git-upload-pack
HTTP/1.1
[…]
< HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found

Am I doing something wrong? Is there another way to access the git repos in
the archive?
