I think since android-platforms-tools-base is mainly a development
package we don't need to split it up again. We could provide Maven
artifacts for the Gradle plugin and reuse for instance the information on

It would be nice to know what artifactID and groudID other projects
expect. Perhaps we should wait with that implementation until we have
packaged a reverse-dependency that actually makes use of Maven artifacts.
