[Android-tools-devel] build tools license agreement error

I don't mind Gradle; it's like running the future on my computer, but when it doesn't work, it bothers me.
First off, everything else with Debian's Android tools seems to be in order. Whether I run gradle or ./gradlew I get the same error:
A problem occurred configuring root project 'android'.> You have not accepted the license agreements of the following SDK components:  [Android SDK Build-Tools 27.0.1].  Before building your project, you need to accept the license agreements and complete the installation of the missing components using the Android Studio SDK Manager.  Alternatively, to learn how to transfer the license agreements from one workstation to another, go to http://d.android.com/r/studio-ui/export-licenses.html
Bear in mind this supposedly refers to the build tools shipped with Debian. I also tried "debian" as the build tools version, but it said it was invalid.
I don't mind "accepting" a license agreement that doesn't actually apply, but I don't know how to do it in the context of Debian's tools. I have conspiracy theories about Google screwing over non-Google Android software, but they screw over their own software so it's probably just a random error. What should I do?
Project is at https://github.com/fluffrabbit/debian-android-simple
Many thanks.
