Package: fastboot
Version: 1:8.1.0+r23-5
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I connected my Fairphone 3 to my computer using USB and tried using "fastboot
-w". The command failed with the following error message:

Invalid erase-block-size 512: must be a power of 2 and at least 4096.
Invalid logical-block-size 512: must be a power of 2 and at least 4096.
mke2fs 1.45.6 (20-Mar-2020)
/tmp/TemporaryFile-GmJtWH: Unimplemented ext2 library function while setting up superblock
/usr/lib/android-sdk/platform-tools/mke2fs failed with status 1
mke2fs failed: 1
error: Cannot generate image for userdata

I then retried with the version of fastboot that I downloaded from
developer.android.com and it worked fine.
