Upgraded the system and then ran `adb devices`
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
tried `rm ~/.android -r && sudo apt remove adb && sudo apt install adb`. Ineffective
   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
I expected adb to show me connected devices
