Yeah, sounds appropriate. I'll do it after it passes the NEW queue.

To be on the safe side, I've set Conflicts: 
android-sdk-platform-tools-common, so that the user cannot break the 
system. When it passes NEW, this will need to be changed to a versioned 
Breaks+Replaces in android-udev-rules' control file, combined with 
a Depends: android-udev-rules in the old package.

Or that's what I gathered from

Hope this passes NEW in time for trixie!
