[Android-tools-devel] Bug#781332: adb: device offline (adb version too old?)

Package - android-tools-adb
adb version - Android Debug Bridge version 1.0.31
Devices - Nexus 5 and OnePlus One.

I am getting 'error: device offline' when I don't accept to 'Allow USB
debugging?'  prompt which appears after connecting the device. But when I
accept to 'Allow USB debugging?' prompt then adb shell gets connected
without any issues.
