It should be quite simple to fix: default values are defined in  
/src/pkg_columnizer.cc:
%I - line 51 (6→8)
%o - line 73 (15→17)
%Z - line 68 (7→9)
and also "debsize" should be a bit wider:
%D - line 52 (6→8)

Please note, that value for "size change" (%Z) is hardcoded, while it  
could be "translable", as e.g. with Polish locales sizechange is only one  
character too small now. (In Polish we use thousand separator only for  
really big numbers i.e. above 9999).
