[Aptitude-devel] Bug#570377: (no subject)

Could this be caused by packages that are not marked as automatically
installed? I had this situation on our servers:

# aptitude dist-upgrade -svy > fail.log (see attachedment for output)

After I marked the packages that caused the conflict as automatically
installed:

# aptitude markauto '~nwinst-wnt5-x86-32-driverpack-.*'

And ran the command again:

# aptitude dist-upgrade -svy > success.log (see attachment for output)

aptitude finally did what I expected it to do.
