Your patch reminds me that the strings “%BOption:%b   ”, “%BDefault:%b
 ”, etc. are a set and are supposed to be the same length.  I have
applied the patch, with an additional change to also adjust the final
member:

 #: src/apt_config_treeitems.cc:402
 msgid "%BChoice:%b  "
-msgstr "%BChoix : %b  "
+msgstr "%BChoix :%b  "

Subsequently I also added a note for translators and adjusted the
lengths in some other translations.

Ok.  We plan another version that may contain a very few new strings
and will be uploaded to experimental.  I will ask for translations
then.
