Technically yes, this was introduced in 0.6.8.1-1 by the fix for
#680333 (a similar bug which has much greater impact).  Do upgrade.

Directly, this only concerns “Reconfigure package” action in the
interactive interface, though aptitude is also affected by the
presence of #686346 in all recent versions of apt (it was not
specifically introduced by 0.9.7.4).

To be hit by either bug a system must be in the (rare?) situation of
having installed a package with no architecture.  See the original
report.
