I am forwarding this to the aptitude mailinglist, as deity@ is more concerned
with libapt-*, the apt-* tools and general front-end discussions than talk
about specific front-ends like aptitude.


That said, it might be interesting to know what the benefits of the
aptitude.log are now that we have /var/log/apt/history.log around for a while.
(Sorry for my ignorance, but I am dog-fooding, so not an aptitude user at all)
[Yes, code reading those files and a command to access them would be nice]
