[Aptitude-devel] Bug#469100: aptitude: please add short version of commands

I am considering doing this, but even if relatively simple, it would
be quite a lot of work documenting it, adding hints in --help, even
deciding the best short names and solving clashes, possibly some new
messages for translation...

This request didn't ever receive any follow-up, for or against.
