I don't understand... do you mean that you think that it's a bug with
the apache2 scripts?  That's my guess as well, what I don't know is if
aptitude should try to restore the state of the terminal before
continuing (if possible).

What does it mean "I even have the bug with aptitude", can you please rephrase?
