One remark though about something I didn't notice with the previous
version:

aptitude doesn't seem to cleanly build twice in a row. After a
non-chrooted build with "debuild" and "debclean" afterwards,
"pdebuild" for the chrooted build initially failed as follows:

The mentioned diff shows that these files are new files. So they
should be cleaned up in the clean target.

Maybe adding

doc/??/aptitude.xml
doc/??/manpage.xml

to debian/clean helps -- unless the source files are matched by this, too.
