[Aptitude-devel] Bug#794757: aptitude fails to launch with symbol lookup error

Package: aptitude
Version: 0.6.11-1+b1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Dear Maintainer,

aptitude is no longer usable since the previous upgrade. When
I try to start it from bash, it writes :
aptitude: symbol lookup error: aptitude: undefined symbol:

I haven't tried the 0.7-1 since apt-get wants to keep
the 0.6.11-1+b1 installed.

I think that a dependance library is the reason of the problem
but I don't achieve to determnine which library is the cause.

I suspect the new libstdc++6 (5.2.14) that breaks many packages,
but I'm not sure.
