This happens after fixing #421469 (messages were there but not printed
unless in verbose mode).

Fix one bug and add another, eh?  Hopefully I have not added more than
one bug when fixing that one.

I believe that I have fixed that now, it should be present in the next
release (and it will say "purged" in that case, not "removed").
