Quite likely. :)
However I was sitting on the problem for at least 4...5 weeks (only able to 
report now) and I may not be the only one. Though I know precisely one 
package exhibiting this problem.

Interesting, thanks. I wonder how can we identify what relationships are 
responsible if that's the case...
