This doesn't seem to be a bug in aptitude, since it doesn't deal with
hardware drives at all, and the different methods to install (http,
cdrom, etc) come from apt.

After 3 years open, since nobody is working on it, it's better to close
it.

If/when people do care, they will open a new report (hopefully to the
package actually able to fix this issue) and provide current
information.
