No, it's not.

There have been several cases of these problems of missing auto-flags
being fixed in the last few versions.

Would you be able to upgrade to version 0.7.8, test it for a while, and
verify if you keep seeing the same type of behaviour?

If you keep seeing the behaviour, please tell me a clear test case as
you did in the original report (thanks for that!).
