Yes, I think that without your new style wouldn't have been possible to do it.
I meant that I don't know if many people will be bothered to change
the defaults, since I never see this kind of options tweaked in
configs sent to bug reports, or complaints about much more big broken
things like the themes (so I was tempted to scrap theme support
altogether).
