Thanks for the report.

There was a similar problem caused by #881422, but I guess that you are
using Stretch/Stable and not mixing versions of more recent libapt, is
that right?

In any case, for future reports, "reportbug" might help because it
reports all of this extra information.

Also, if possible, use "LANG=C aptitude changelog rsync" so we can see
the original messages, and with "aptitude-dbgsym" installed so it shows
more information per line.
