Using -t here makes no sense, as the "reinstall" command will only ever
reinstall whatever version is currently installed. If you want a
particular version of the package, use the "install" command and specify
the version or archive, as mentioned in the manpage:

| to the package name: for instance, “aptitude install apt=0.3.1”.
| Similarly, to select a package from a particular archive, append
| “/<archive>” to the package name: for instance, “aptitude install
| apt/experimental”. You cannot specify both an archive and a version

IOW, "aptitude install package/sid" is what you should use.
