Hi,

A patch to make tcpdump aware of both Babel 1 and Babel 2 is available on

  http://www.pps.jussieu.fr/~jch/software/files/tcpdump-babel-20081021.patch

The Babel 1 parser is due to Grégoire Henry, the Babel 2 parser is due to me.

Debian packages are available on

  http://www.pps.jussieu.fr/~jch/software/files/tcpdump_3.9.5-2etch1babel0_i386.deb
  http://www.pps.jussieu.fr/~jch/software/files/tcpdump_3.9.5-2etch1babel0_i386.deb.asc
  http://www.pps.jussieu.fr/~jch/software/files/tcpdump_3.9.8-4babel0_amd64.deb
  http://www.pps.jussieu.fr/~jch/software/files/tcpdump_3.9.8-4babel0_amd64.deb.asc

The 386 version was compiled for Etch, and might (or might not) work on
Lenny. The AMD64 version was compiled for Lenny, and while it will
definitely not install cleanly on Etch, it might (or might not) work if
you --force-depends it.

                                        Juliusz
