Dear all,

You will find version 0.16 of the Babel routing daemon on

  http://www.pps.jussieu.fr/~jch/software/files/babel-0.16.tar.gz
  http://www.pps.jussieu.fr/~jch/software/files/babel-0.16.tar.gz.asc

For more information on Babel please see

The main news in this version is that the code that interfaces to
a GUI has been merged into the trunk; it is disabled by default, and
is enabled with the ``-g'' flag (q.v.).

I've also removed the ``-X'' command-line option -- please use
redistribution instead.

Other than that, there are two minor tweaks to the cost computation,
including a fix for a fairly rare crash that would happen when an
intermediate result didn't fit in 31 bits, debugged by Yoann Canal, to
whom many thanks.

(That's what you get for preferring fixed-point computation.)

Enjoy,

                                        Juliusz Chroboczek

29 September 2008: babel 0.16

  * Tweaked cost computation to be slightly slower.
  * Implemented a local interface for GUIs.
  * INCOMPATIBLE CHANGE: the -X command-line option is no more.
