I like the white background version.  I'd remove the "Mesh Networks",
to simplify it further.

For a black background, I'd suggest simply reversing the white version
rather than creating an outline -- the outline looks too messy at small
sizes (it's a logo, remember?).

What does it look like if you change the font to use Budyta's Kurier
instead?
