IMHO in practice we use both for our "mesh" networks (HNA announcements come to mind)... so... yes, "mesh" networks are unfortunately quite complex. Big surprise ;-)


Thanks for the clarifications, I have no further questions right now. 
But out of curiosity and for the sake of mathematical arguments, I would like to know the details later when I have a long sunday with a free head for thinking or when we meet for a beer in Paris ;-) Maybe there is a way to fix this? Or is it simply because of some bug (as opposed to some mathematical property)?
