Hi,
A few months ago, some IS-IS folks (Christian Franke, I believe, perhaps
in collaboration with David Lamparter) have implemented dynamically
computed metrics for wireless links in IS-IS. Unlike Babel, they don't
measure multicast packet, but try to intuit a metric out of physical layer
information.
Mikael Abrahamsson has done some preliminary testing comparing IS-IS and
Babel in an uncongested wireless network; his writeup is here:
