and while I'm at it, I can confirm that

rpi3 binaries (like babel) do run on the "chip" - (yea! I can use a
rpi to build stuff for it, one less qemu to run)

and that IPV6_SUBTREES is disabled on their 4.3 based kernel build also

... someone should take a pass at linux's defconfig files and enable
IPV6_SUBTREES universally.
