the rpi3 is definately doing bad things with ipv6 overall, although
with ipv6_subtrees false it is doing more of the "right thing" with
the ip -6 rules...
I put a babel debug 3 log up at:

now to go turn that off before I run out of flash! Jeeze, 5MB in a minute.....

I think this has some bearing on the issues an earlier poster this
month had with the rpi3.
