You filed both an ITP and an RFS. The latter was quickly closed by a
fellow Debian member, Bart, and I now follow up at your still-open ITP.
(ideally you filed only one bugreport, and used email header
X-Debbugs-CC instead of CC as done by command-line tool "reportbug" and
documented at https://www.debian.org/Bugs/Reporting - but that's not a
big deal, mentioning just in case you wanna learn for later)

You can either...:
a) let Debian members take over maintenance of your draft package
b) maintain the package on your own and each time ready to release
find a Debian member to sponsor the release on your behalf
c) team up with others to maintain the package in collaboration
and let a Debian member in the team do package releases
d) join Debian and release packages alone and/or in teams
If you want a) then this bugreport should be changed to an "RFP"
(request for packaging". I can help you do that if you like.
Confusingly some call both b) and c) "sponsoring" (i.e. the sponsor can
be a team members), whereas some (including me) call only b) sponsoring.
If you want b) then please follow the guidelines and procedures at
https://mentors.debian.net/intro-maintainers/
If you want c) then you should find someone to team up with. Perhaps
that's what you are doing here, by cc'ing the tinker team, so...
Welcome to the tinker team!
Unfortunately this team is not very big, and personally I have my hands
quite full already and see no need myself for this package, so I kindly
decline to join you in maintaining it. And I don't do (out-of-team)
sponsoring.
You are most welcome to join this team, even if you choose to maintain
the package with an (out-of-team) sponsor. I then recommend that you
join our mailinglist, and (if you want to host the packaging at Salsa)
that you request membership at our salsa group as well - brief links to
both are at https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/Tinker - feel free to ask here
if you need more details.
Kind regards,
- Jonas
