Thanks! It needs road-testing first, though, but as I've written elsewhere I 
think that it's worth "starting the conversation" by making the code available 
and seeing if it has value to anyone.

Certainly, I think it's worthwhile getting the mechanisms well-described by 
prose and code so that other projects can also improve their scheduling 
support: the various specifications give the impression of being evolved 
descriptions of certain existing, proprietary products (whose producers don't 
really prioritise interoperability anyway).
