[Cupt-devel] Bug#710052: libcupt2-0: cupt fails to upgrade packet on the multiarch system

Dear Maintainer,

I have two installed architectures on my PC:
$ dpkg --print-architecture 
amd64
$ dpkg --print-foreign-architectures 
i386

At the same time I have several packages installed of the same name but
different architectures, for example:
ii  libxdmcp6:amd64  1:1.1.1-1 amd64
ii  libxdmcp6:i386   1:1.1.1-1 i386

When I try to do a safe-upgrade I got a following message:

При обработке следующих пакетов произошли ошибки:
 libaio1:amd64
 libaio1:i386
E the command '/usr/bin/dpkg --install --no-triggers --force-bad-path //var/cache/apt/archives/libaio1_0.3.109-4_amd64.deb' failed: exit code '1'
E: unable to do requested actions
E: error performing the command 'safe-upgrade'

There are lots of these errors for every packet that is installed in the
system with two different architectures. Upgrade process is terminated
at this time leading to a broken packages system. I expected correct
change of the packets, though for now as I can see the only way to
handle it is to remove packages with the foreign architecture with
apt-get manually and then continue safe-upgrade.
