Well, if you read the debconf devel man pages, you'll see that
maintainers are encouraged to use the low and medium priorities *to
minimize questions that have sane defaults*. A Debian system with low
priority for debconf asks TONS of questions so I (and certainly also
Joey and other debconf maintainers...as well as 99% of the Debian
developers) will object this suggestion.
