Attempting a kernel remove:

    Configuring linux-image-2.6.26-1-686
    ------------------------------------

    You are running a kernel (version 2.6.26-1-686) and attempting to remove the same version.

    This can make the system unbootable as it will remove
    /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.26-1-686 and all modules under the directory
    /lib/modules/2.6.26-1-686.  This can only be fixed with a copy of

    are prepared to fix the system after removal.
