Hmm, I know the height of the console was smaller than usual. My best
guess at dimensions were COLUMNS=55 LINES=11 or perhaps LINES=17

I'm not sure which package or template was involved, but I think it
involved checking the running kernel, or something like that, probably
in a trigger based on some other surrounding context I should have
included in the bug report but now only remember vaguely.

Sorry I don't have a clearer idea of how to reproduce it.
