Hi Ole,
thanks for the review of my plan and patch.

Additionally, I've also checked "apt-rbdepends libplplot-ada1-dev" and
"apt-rbdepends libplplot-d". The former yielded nothing, the latter
found this:
~ → apt-rbdepends libplplot-d
Package: cl-plplot
Package: gnudatalanguage
Package: psfex
Package: scamp
But these were all false positives (checked with "fgrep --color") as
apt-rbdepends seems to do substring matching and all cases were
dependencies on libplplot-dev, matching without the "ev" at the end.

Ok, I'll prepare an NMU based on the patch I posted in my last mail.

I've just re-read
https://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/developers-reference/pkgs.html#nmu
and it seems as if I had more restrictive rules in mind.
Since this RC bug is open for about 6 weeks now without maintainer
reaction, a direct (0-day) NMU is allowed according to these rules. So
I'll probably upload directly to get all the plplot reverse
dependencies back into testing as soon as possible.
Regards, Axel
