Version: 1.4.7-1
Severity: serious
Justification: policy 4.6

The Debian policy mandates that build errors cause the build to abort.
This is not the case for funtools' Makefile.in. In line 236 it executes
mklib and an error from that tool is ignored. The build will continue
even if that command fails. It turns out that it can fail for cross
compilation and the fact that errors aren't trapped makes such failures
unnecessarily difficult to debug and violates policy section 4.6.
