[Debian-astro-maintainers] Bug#993461: corrupted index.fits data files prohibit plate-solve

After having installed the astrometry-data-2mass data on my raspi 4,
solve-field gives  errors on some of the examples provided by astrometry.net
(as part of their git repository):

It seems that after the package downloaded the fits-files, some of the
files are corrupted. Removing and  then reinstalling the package did
download the files again, but then some other files were then corrupted
(not shown). Only after manually downloading the given files using wget, I
was able to solve sdss.jpg.

As an improvement, please consider checking downloaded files against the
md5sums.txt file, that is available from
http://data.astrometry.net/4200/md5sums.txt.

It would even be better, if a dpkg-reconfigure or a command (or some such),
would download only corrupted files as this is a 3 GB download.
